Key Stage II P.4 – 6 Curriculum (Task-based Approach)

In this stage, we use Task Based Approach as the main teaching strategy. Students would do a lot of reading of different text types either from the course books or from texts given by teachers. Following the principle of Read to Learn and Co-operative Learning, students extract and gather useful information from the reading materials, then discuss and exchange information in small groups. Finally, they have to complete the meaningful tasks designed by teachers. Through the process, students are able to develop and strengthen their generic skills.
